MU Law staff and postgraduate students present their research at the Socio Legal Studies Association Annual Conference 2018

A group of MU Law staff and students presented their research at the SLSA Annual Conference which took place in the University of Bristol from 27-29 March 2018. The group was composed of Dr Noelle Higgins, Dr Amina Adanan, Charles O’Sullivan and Emer Shannon.

Dr Noelle Higgins presented her paper. ‘Crime of Our Times?: Cultural Cleansing and the Destruction of Cultural Property’. Dr Amina Adanan presented a paper entitled, ‘An analysis of the exercise of universal jurisdiction in the United Kingdom’.

Charles O’Sullivan presented his paper, ‘A very Irish war on welfare’. Emer Shannon presented her research, ‘Remediating Victims of Revenge Pornography: Is the e-Safety Commissioner a Solution?’, as part of the poster presentations.

Dr Noelle Higgins is Senior lecturer in the Law Department at Maynooth University, where she teaches Public International Law, International Justice, Minority Rights and International Criminal Law.
