Dr Amina Adanan and Dr Neil Maddox of Maynooth University Law Department have published Irish Land Law: A Casebook.

This casebook presents the leading cases and legislative provisions in Irish land law in an accessible format. This book is written with reader learning in mind, and covers the seminal cases, as well as newer cases in the subject. The topics in the casebook are: land and finding, licences, equity, adverse possession, family property, co-ownership, mortgages, succession law, incorporeal hereditaments, landlord & tenant law and human rights and property.

Each case is succeeded by questions to enable students to reflect on and engage with the material, in order to optimise the reader’s learning experience. This text is a useful tool for teaching land law in third level institutions and professional training bodies.

The casebook is published by Round Hall and is available to purchase from the Maynooth University Bookshop.
