LLM (International Justice) students present research to Immigrant Council of Ireland

Tuesday, May 16, 2017 - 15:00

In April 2017, Department of Law students presented a draft report on “Social Rights of Migrants in Ireland” to the Immigrant Council of Ireland. This was a community-based learning project undertaken by the students, whereby they collaborated with the Immigrant Council of Ireland to develop a topic for research and complete that research as a group. The report focuses in particular on the position of undocumented migrants and of certain groups of mobile EU citizens.

This formed part of the module ‘Globalisation, Migration and the Law’, available as part of the LLM (International Justice) programme at Maynooth University Department of Law.
