Find Out about Maynooth Law at Upcoming Open Day

Monday, April 20, 2015 - 00:00

Come along to the Maynooth University Open Day to find out about Law @ Maynooth!

The Open Day will take place on campus on Saturday, 25 April. Both Department of Law staff members and current law students will on hand on the day to answer any questions you might have about course content, student life, and career opportunities! Our stand will be located in the Iontas Foyer in the Iontas Building, North Campus (the Iontas Building is point 41 on this campus map).

Whether you are interested in an undergraduate or postgraduate course, we will have someone to answer your question! Why not take a look at the wide variety of courses we have on offer on our website to see what takes  your fancy? We are particularly excited about our LLM in International Justice, which will commence in September.

Aside from the suite of courses we offer, we also encourage all of our students to become involved in societies during their time at Maynooth. To this end, we support a number of student-run societies on campus, such as the Law Society, FLAC, and the European Law Students' Association. You can find out more about these societies on our website and from our students who will be at our stand throughout the day!

On the day, two of our lecturers Dr Noelle Higgins and Dr Neil Maddox will be delivering a talk on our postgraduate courses, for which you can register online now! This talk will be aimed at both graduates and students of law degrees and those of non-law degrees, as we offer courses catered to both! It will take place at 1pm in Tutorial Room 7 of the John Hume Building (the John Hume Building is point 52 on this campus map).

If you have ever dreamed of donning the wig and wielding the gavel, come along to find out more!
