Dr Neil Maddox chaired a webinar hosted by the Department of Law at Maynooth University titled, Fertility Preservation for Children with Cancer: The Legal and Regulatory Context on the 10th of December 2021. This webinar was linked to his current work on a project concerned with the novel and complex issues presented by technological developments in the area of fertility preservation for children with cancer. This project is a joint collaboration with the Irish Cancer society and is funded by the Irish Research Council under its New Foundations Scheme. Speakers at the event were Dr Emma Nottingham (University of Winchester), Dr Katherine Wade (University of Leicester), Claire McGovern (Maynooth University), and Dan O’Mahony BL (Law Library of Ireland).
