Dr Edana Richardson has published an article: “Standardising Responsible Islamic Finance:
A Review of Green, Social and Sustainability Sukuk” in the KILAW journal.
This article considers the growth of green, social and sustainability sukuk, analyses relevant standards and parameters developed in the conventional and Islamic responsible finance industries, and reflects upon growing convergence between the standards applicable to, and practices within, these market sectors.
Dr Richardson teaches Islamic finance on the Department of Law’s LLM in International Business Law and LLM in Global Legal Studies programmes, and researches Islamic finance, sustainable finance and capital markets law.
