On May, 18 Delia Ferri presented on “State aid and the protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities” at the conference “EU Disability Law and the UNCRPD – Financial Instruments Related to Disability”, organized by ERA-Academy of European Law and held in Trier.
The conference was attended by policy practitioners and lawyers from several European countries. Other speakers included Professor Christopher Bovis (University of Hull), Alfonso Lara Montero (Chief Executive of European Social Network) and László Gábor Lovászy (Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The conference is part of a series of events devoted to EU Disability Law and the UNCRPD, in the framework of the European Union’s REC Programme (2014-2020).
Dr. Ferri has a featured as invited speaker at several ERA events on disability law since 2011. She is a lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law where she lectures primarily in the fields of EU Law and International and European Disability law.
