We are delighted to welcome Véronique Brokke and Sidar Yaylagül to the Department of Law during summer 2017. Véronique and Sidar are undertaking a Student Trainee Exchange Programme (STEP) run by the European Law Students' Association (ELSA).
Véronique Brokke is a third year European Law School student at Maastricht University. For the duration of her internship she is working with Dr Brian Flanagan on the topic of group agency. While she is here, she 'hopes to get better acquainted with the work of researchers, as well as explore Ireland and all its beautiful sights.'
Sidar Yaylagül is a law student at the University of Vienna and for the duration of her internship is working with Prof Michael Doherty on a number of projects including researching gig economies and their possible legal regulation within the EU.
