Clíodhna Murphy and Mary Gilmartin awarded funding from Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission

Dr Clíodhna Murphy (Department of Law) and Prof Mary Gilmartin (Department of Geography) have been awarded funding under the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Grants Scheme 2016. They were awarded €16,500 for their project “Integration Policy in Ireland Through the Lens of Human Rights and Equality”. The year-long project aims to conduct an audit and human rights review of migrant integration policy across the public sector, mapping the extent to which such policies conform to best practice identified in international human rights law.

Dr Clíodhna Murphy is a lecturer in law at Maynooth University Department of Law, where she lectures in Globalisation, Migration & The Law,  Law  & Governance and Company Law.
