On 20th October, the Department of Law was formally awarded an Athena SWAN Bronze Award under Advance HE's gender equality charter.
Speaking at an online ceremony attended by the new President of Maynooth University, Professor Eeva Leinonen, the Ministerfor Further and Higher Education,Simon Harris, acknowledged the progress that has been made towards the achievement of gender equality across the Higher Education sector and congratulated the successful institutions on their ongoing efforts to make equality a reality.
