Maynooth University Department of Law invites you to join us for a seminar on ‘Crime, Justice and the Covid-19 pandemic: Towards a Research Agenda’.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had profound implications for crime and its control both in Ireland and globally. This seminar will discuss the impact on policing and the prison system in Ireland, as well as some of the implications for criminological research.

Speakers include:

Fíona Ní Chinnéide, Executive Director, Irish Penal Reform Trust
Dan Jones, MSt, Inspector, Edmonton Police Service, Canada, PhD Candidate (Criminology) University of Huddersfield.This event will be chaired by Prof. Claire Hamilton, Maynooth University Department of Law.
