The International Office (IO) in collaboration with the MU Careers Service has organised this Monday 17th of August a virtual farewell gathering for the international postgraduate (PG) students graduating in 2020.
Through this online event, the students had the opportunity to get together, share feedback regarding their MU experience and also ask questions to the IO staff before finishing their degree.
Since most of the international PG students plan on staying in Ireland to look for a job, Anne Mooney, careers adviser in the MU Careers Service, provided some guidance for the different steps of their job search (CV building, interview preparation, etc).
Anne also reminded the students that they can receive career guidance at any time by using the MU FutureConnect platform implemented by the Careers Service.
The IO wishes to thank the 30 students who participated in the event as well as Anne who provided some very useful advices to the students.
