This information is for international students commencing or returning to their programme of study at Maynooth University in September 2022.

On 15th June 2021, the Irish government published its plan for a safe return to onsite higher education for 2021/22. The plan regards on-site education as essential and allows us to plan for a return to near-normal activities on campus next year. We are planning for practical classes, tutorials, and most lectures to be held on campus, while many of the very large lectures will continue to be offered remotely. We will also still need to take health precautions, and we must also make contingency plans in case the situation disimproves.
The government's plan signals a return to what will hopefully be a more normal experience on campus. Maynooth University and the International Office team have put plans in place to facilitate your safe arrival in Ireland for the academic year 2022. This webpage, along with the After You Arrive webpage, will be your main resource as you prepare to travel to Ireland and Maynooth University.

We look forward to welcoming you to Maynooth University soon.

Our Pre-Arrival Guide for International Students for the period 2022/2023 will soon be available here -
