Research Interests

Sinéad’s research is concerned with exploring processes of knowledge sharing within multi-disciplinary teams and in particular the role that can be played by technology in mediating between heterogeneous knowledge creation processes in a knowledge-intensive environment.
This encompasses issues such as how technologies can shape (and be shaped by) organisational culture; the reconfiguration of practices around the introduction of new information technologies; and the associated social and organisational implications of such changes.
