The Role

We are seeking an excellent academic to join our staff as a Lecturer in Biogeography. The person appointed will have a proven record of teaching, research and publication, appropriate to career stage. He/she will be expected to make a strong contribution to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programme and research activities of the Department. The appointee should have research interests which complement those of our physical geography staff: in climate change, quaternary palaeoenvironments and/or geomorphology. The Department wishes to strengthen its links with the Faculty of Science and Engineering looking towards the provision of a new undergraduate programme in Environmental Science, and the appointee will play a key role in the planning process.
