The University provides Emergency Travel Insurance Cover for Staff and Postgraduates traveling abroad on University business and undergraduate students who are traveling on an approved programme abroad under the supervision of an academic department. The insurance cover is only effective if prior notification has been received by the Health & Safety Office. The insurance covers trips up to 30 days. Trips over 30 days must be advised to the Insurers by the Health & Safety Office. An additional premium may be required which is paid by the Department undertaking the trip.
