On 12th June, 2025, colleagues from across the country braved the wind and rain to gather at Maynooth University for the IUA Deans of Graduate Studies Symposium 2025 — a day dedicated to professional development and collaboration.
The symposium offered a rich and engaging programme, sparking meaningful conversations around the challenges and opportunities facing graduate education in Ireland. It was inspiring to see this strong commitment and shared purpose among colleagues, all working to enhance the postgraduate research experience.
To conclude the day National Guidelines for Viva Voce Examinations: Guidance for Examiners and Supports for Doctoral Candidates were launched.
