Second year Undergraduates have to opportunity to take this elective module. 
This stream introduces students to the exciting and dynamic field of Digital Humanities which is changing the nature of traditional research and practice by using new, digital tools and methods, such as 2D and 3D visualisation, augmented and virtual reality, serious games, crowdsourcing, text encoding, web archiving etc. to capture, model, analyse, represent, and disseminate the past. Students will gain a broad knowledge of the field while developing technical skills by hands-on practice with a range of software and tools. No prior experience is necessary.
The module is divided into two parts, AFF263 in Semester 1 and AFF264 in Semester 2.
