Digital Engagements with Clay is a digital archaeology project coordinated by Dr. Costas Papadopoulos, as part of the British Academy funded project ‘Corporeal Engagements with Clay: The Neolithic Figurines from Koutroulou Magoula’ directed by Prof. Yannis Hamilakis from the University of Brown, USA. This project uses Computational Imaging (photogrammetry, laser scanning, multispectral photography, and Reflectance Transformation Imaging), and 3D Printing for the study, interpretation, and dissemination of the Neolithic Figurines from the Middle Neolithic site of Koutroulou Magoula in central Greece, c. 5800-5300 BC, which form the largest assemblage of clay Neolithic figurines from any site in Greece.
