DARIAH Ireland is delighted to announce its official launch on Monday 18 May 2015, at Maynooth University. An Foras Feasa's director Dr Susan Screibman is national coordinator for the project, and Ireland is one of the founding members of DARIAH.
DARIAH Ireland (DARIAH-IE), as part of the pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities, promotes and increases awareness of digital arts and humanities research, projects, tools & best practices within Ireland and the wider network of European digital arts and humanities.
This one-day symposium will highlight digital humanities scholarship both in Ireland and across the DARIAH partners. Professor Jerome McGann will give the keynote and the event will feature slams, a poster session, and the launch of a new report, Digital Humanities and the Innovation Ecosystem.
Sponsored by the Irish Research Council, the event is free to attend. All are welcome.
