We are seeking a strong technical leader, preferably with experience in Digital Humanities, Digital Cultural Heritage, Digital Libraries, Digital Media, Computer Science or related fields. This position provides an exciting opportunity for a creative and dedicated individual to join a vibrant and growing team and contribute to the development of Digital Humanities as an area of cutting-edge research and innovative teaching and learning. The post holder will work closely with staff in An Foras Feasa to develop tools and methods for digital humanities scholarship, including information design, data analysis, data modelling, and data discovery, while assisting with the development of solutions for both public facing projects and administrative tools and solutions.
The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate on grant opportunities and work in conjunction with the staff at An Foras Feasa to promote and develop digital humanities on campus, as well as Maynooth as a established centre of excellence in DH. The post holder may also participate in digital humanities teaching at Maynooth University, including module lecturing, thesis co-supervision and practicum mentoring.
