Hiring - Research Assistant in Audio-Visual Production

An Foras Feasa, The Humanities Research Institute at Maynooth University, invites applications for an eight-month post for a Research Assistant in audio-visual production to join a growing and dynamic team to support ongoing projects.

The successful candidate will work primarily in recording and editing video and audio for projects in AFF, including Letters of 1916 and Contested Memories: The Battle of Mount Street Bridge, as well coordinate with other AFF members to produce audio-visual content that will promote the research and teaching mission of the institute. The successful candidate will also support the creation of videos for #dariahTeach on introductory topics in Digital Humanities, featuring the work undertaken by Digital Arts and Humanities (DAH) students and staff, as well as featuring the work by DIXIT fellows and staff in the area of digital scholarly editing. The role may also include tutoring students in audio-visual production methods and software.
