Maynooth University anthropologist, Dr Chandana Mathur, has been confirmed as Chair of the World Council of Anthropological Associations (WCAA). Dr Mathur served as Deputy Chair of the Council for the last two years.

Ciarán McFadden and Dr. Marian Crowley Henry publish book chapter on the careers of the transgender community.
Ciarán McFadden, a final year PhD student in the School of Business, and his doctoral supervisor, Dr. Marian Crowley-Henry, have recently published a book chapter on the careers and workplace experiences of the transgender community in “Sexual Orientation and Transgender Issues in Organizations: Global Perspectives on LGBT Workforce Diveristy”, edited by Dr. Thomas Köllen.
