Maynooth University’s Law Society hosted a successful Silken Thomas Moot Court Competition 2020, very kindly sponsored by Matheson. This was the largest Silken Thomas Moot Court Competition to date, with 17 teams participating from across Ireland. The winning team, in an exciting final that took place in Carton House Hotel, were Maynooth students Aoife Hardy and Eoin Robinson. The best speaker was Paul Whelan.
Maynooth University runs a mooting module for second year LLB students. The University’s Law Society, which has dedicated moot court convenors, organises a number of moots throughout the academic year.
