MU FLAC Society and the MU Literary and Debating Society organise debate on Social Justice

Social Justice Week Student Debate

On 10 March 2020, MU FLAC Society and the MU Literary and Debating Society held a debate on the motion: ‘This House Would Support Free Accommodation for all students’. The event was part of Maynooth University Social Justice Week 2020 calendar.
 
The teams included students from the Department of Law and other Departments. The Proposition team was composed of: Shane Brady, Scott Connolly, Cameron Moss and Rory O' Hare. The Opposition team, who won the debate, was composed of: David Dyksy, Theresa Durkin, Gavan Mc Laughlin and Maya-lou Reddy. The debate was convened by Seán Masterson, and the was judges were Kemka Ogbonda (MU Literary and Debating Society) and Dr Amina Adanan (Law Department).
