On Thursday 27th February, Dr Louise Kennefick presented a paper to the Legal Theory research group at the University of Glasgow, entitled 'Criminal Responsibility Ascription as a Site of Injustice'. The paper explored ideal and nonideal political philosophy methodologies and their application to the criminal responsibility space. The paper forms part of a larger study regarding the application of the notion of respect in both moral and political contexts to our understanding of how we hold people responsible for criminal behaviour in society.
