Outstanding performance of MIEC students in the 2020 China Robotics Competition

MIEC students won the second and third prize in the national 2020 China Robotics Competition. It was held in Qingdao, Shandong province, in November 2020. Students from MIEC and other FZU colleges, with membership in the FZU Robot Fans Association, jointly formed teams to compete.
 
The team of second year students Wang Ning (Robotics), Ma Huijuan (Electronic Engineering) and Zheng Tianhao (Electronic Engineering) won the second prize in the Robot-Humanoid category. Second year students Li Zongtan (Robotics) and Wu Diancong (Robotics) won the third prize in the Robot-Automatic Sorting category.
 
The China Robotics Competition is currently one of the most respected high level technical robotics competitions in China. It has been held for 21 years since 1999 and has 18 major events such as engineering robots, agricultural robots, or drone challenges. This year's edition attracted 780 participants from nearly 250 universities, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Harbin Institute of Technology. More than 3,500 students participated in the competition.
