We were delighted to welcome Professor Peter Herrmann to Chinese Studies in early May. He has been teaching at several Third Level Institutions across the EU; currently correspondent to the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy [previously Foreign and International Social Law] Munich, Germany.
He visited staff at Chinese Studies and delivered 2 lectures to our students. For first years his lecture was entitled; One Belt, One Road, One World - the digitisation of life in China.
Second and Final year students were invited to a lecture entitled One Belt, One Road, One World - From economy of comparative advantage to Socio Politics of Cooperative Progressing. Everyone involved enjoyed meeting Professor Herrmann and engaging with him.
