PhD Studentship in Experimental Physics

The Department of Experimental Physics is pleased to announce that a departmental PhD Studentship (Graduate Teaching Studentship) will be available for one student intending to commence PhD or PhD-track studies in 2019.

The Studentship will be in the area of terahertz science and astronomy, including applications in astronomical instrumentation for space.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Full time research degree students commencing a programme of study in 2019 and who have a relevant first class or 2.1 honours in their primary degree, or have a relevant Master’s degree, are eligible to apply for studentship support in the Department. Students who are in receipt of a university scholarship or who have fees paid from external sources are generally not eligible to apply.
