3U Partnership 

Launched in June 2012 by an Taoiseach Enda Kenny T.D. together with Minister for Education Ruairi Quinn T.D., the 3U Partnership brings together three distinctive and leading institutions, Maynooth University, DCU and RCSI, working together on shared initiatives to deliver world-class education and research opportunities.

Building on the success of collaborative work between the institutions over the last number of years, the new formal partnership will see significant developments in academic programmes, research, education and internationalisation.

Athlone Institute of Technology and Maynooth University

In May 2013 the Presidents of Athlone Institute of Technology and Maynooth University announced the formation of a new strategic partnership between their institutions, facilitating collaboration in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; student access and progression; research, commercialisation and entrepreneurship; and internationalisation.

This new formal partnership will bring developments in complementary research areas such as biosciences and chemistry. 


St Patrick's College, Maynooth

St Patrick's College, Maynooth and Maynooth University have a close historical relationship and a long history of collaboration and academic research. The BA in Theology is a shared academic programme between the two institutions. See here for further details.
