Conflict Analysis

    Conflict Analysis is an important mechanism to allow development, humanitarian and peace building actors to gain an understanding of the setting in which they work and their role in that milieu.

    		  
    The Kennedy Institute provides an  expert  team to the ESDC to conduct workshops on this vital topic.
    The workshop is currently  based around a case study set in Afghanistan. Workshop participants work in small groups to apply conflict analysis tools to the case study.

    The Kennedy Institute conducted a  recent Workshop at  the Ukrainian National Defence University in Kiev, where 50  personnel, comprising diplomats, civilian and military personnel from  EU Member States, EU institutions and agencies, together with personnel from the  Eastern Partnership Countries, were in attendance. A team also visited Moldova recently for another workshop on the topic.
