This event on July 21st last provided useful information about the MA and Diploma programmes in Mediation and wider work carried out by the Kennedy Institute. This was an opportunity for the EKI to introduce participants to its Trauma in conflict work. Our Guest Speaker, Totto Niwenshuti, Rwandan dancer and scholar based in South Africa, presented his story and work experience through songs, poetry and dance. Through his career, Totto, a survivor of the Rwandan genocide, put across a captivating story showing how Arts can be instrumental to overcome trauma in life.
