"Collective Trauma in Conflict Scenarios" a book edited by Patty Abozaglo, Adjunct Faculty of the the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for Conflict Intervention in Maynooth University was launched on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Renehan Hall, South Campus, Maynooth University. The scoping study contains articles from various contributors discussing collective trauma, its impact and relevance for conflict intervention practitioners and communities affected by it.

In the forward of the book, Geoffrey Corry wrote that Patty in the book "clearly demonstrates why, if the trauma is left unprocessed by all political leaders in an intercommunal way, then it casts a long shadow and can be carried like a virus through a toxic historical narrative into the next generation."
