Department welcomes Margaret D'Arcy as Guest Accounting Lecturer

The Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting are delighted to welcome Margaret D'Arcy back as guest lecturer in Accounting this academic year.

Margaret D’Arcy holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

She has extensive experience in delivering courses for professional accounting examinations and also as examiner.  She has been lecturing for almost 20 years and has taught both management and financial accounting for third -level and professional education courses. Her current publication An Introduction to Financial Accounting (published by Chartered Accountants Ireland) is designed for students preparing for both professional accounting and undergraduate examinations.

Prior to her involvement in education she held various roles in financial institutions in such areas as treasury and international operation, internal audit, retail banking and card services.
