Modern Writers and Medieval Literature workshop

Prize-winning authors and poets, writing in English, Irish and Welsh, discuss the role of medieval Irish, Welsh, and Old Norse literature as a source of inspiration for modern writers. Speakers will include Welsh novelist and poet Christopher Meredith, Irish novelists Trevor Byrne and Pádraig Ó Cíobháin, and Debbie Potts of the 'Modern Poets on Viking Poetry' project. The workshop will be followed by an informal drinks reception. There is no registration fee, but places are limited and therefore booking is essential: please contact Dr Elizabeth Boyle.
