We congratulate our colleague Dr. Deborah Hayden for receiving a 2017 Charlemont Grant of the Royal Irish Academy, to do research on "Grammar and Natural Philosophy in Medieval Ireland" at the British Library in London. The RIA's Charlemont Grants are awarded to researchers in the early stages of their careers to facilitate research trips abroad.
This is already the second year in a row that a member of the Department of Early Irish has represented Maynooth University at the Charlemont Ceremony, after Dr. Denis Casey in 2016.
