The W2W & GreyFox Student Design Competition 2019 awards ceremony took Place in BDO Office, Beaux Lane House on Friday night. This year the focus of the competition was on the key area of circular and sustainable design. We had a variety of high quality projects submitted by Maynooth University students. Once again, MU Product Design students were very well represented with two of our student groups making it to the final shortlist.

We are delighted to announce that Ozone by Hudson Souza Santos and Daria Bartuzel has been named as joint winning project. Also acknowledged and commended by the judges was ERDE by Cian Moran, Conor Raleigh and Ross Moore Heslin. Both projects demonstrated highly creative interpretations of the brief and presented their solutions with excellent product boards and prototypes.

Our Congratulations to all students for the professional manner with which they approached the project. We would like to thank all at Walls to Workstations Ltd, Grey Fox, and Perch Studio for organizing the competition and for the innovative challenges they put to our students every year. Already looking forward to project 2020.
