The Department of Design Innovation would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jack Fogarty who sadly passed away following a tragic accident while studying abroad in Slovenia.
Jack was a 3rd year product design student of the Department of Design Innovation on Erasmus in Ljubljana University Slovenia. Jack was extremely well liked and admired by staff and fellow-students of both Maynooth and Ljubljana.
Jack was a charming and talented young designer, and it was obvious from the exciting projects he worked on that he was going to bring something very special to his 4th and final year of study. We will remember fondly the time we spent with Jack, and the energy and passion he brought to his studies.
A Book of Condolences has been opened in the Department of Design Innovation, Rowan House, North Campus. The book will remain in the department for a number of weeks for those who wish to sign it.
