The SAOLTA Consortium [Development Perspectives (Lead partner)  AONTAS, Concern Worldwide, Irish Rural Link and the Adult and Community Education Dept of Maynooth University] with support from Irish Aid seeks to increase the accessibility, quality and effectiveness of development education within the Adult and Community Education (ACE) sector in Ireland in accordance with Irish Aids' Global Citizenship Education Strategy 2021-‘24.

Consortium members will participate, with SDG Advocates, in an event with guest speaker Ambassador Geraldine Byrne Nason, Permanent Representative of Ireland to the United Nations in New York since August 2017 and now leads the Security Council team for the 2021-2022 term, on Thu, October 21, 2021, 7 to 9pm.
