In Conversation with Dr Darragh Ennis
On Thursday, 21 November 2024, Maynooth University proudly hosted the official Irish launch of The Body: 10 Things You Should Know by Dr Darragh Ennis - MU alum, scientist, and professional quizzer on The Chase. The event was a collaboration between the Development and Alumni Relations Office, the Graduate Research Academy, and the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and was held in the John Paul II Library on campus.
Attendees - including members of the public, alumni, and staff - enjoyed an insightful and engaging conversation between Dr Ennis and fellow MU alum, Professor Andrew Hogan, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biology and Principal Investigator with the Obesity Immunology Research Group.
The conversation covered a range of topics - from Darragh's time at MU and his career as a scientist and a professional quizzer and the fascinating themes in The Body: 10 Things You Should Know.
