ACM Programming Competition

Congratulations to the teams from the Computer Science Department at Maynooth University who recently competed in the Irish Collegiate Programming Competition 2015 at UCC on Saturday the 28th of March. Maynooth took 2nd and 3rd prizes at the competition which featured 30 teams from universities and institutes throughout the country . The event was hosted by the UCC ACM Student Chapter and sponsored by Google and was part of the George Boole bicentenary series of events.

3rd: Conor Fitzpatrick, Ollie Noonan, Jack Higgins, MU

The Maynooth teams comprised students from Computer Science and Software Engineering, Computational Thinking and a postgraduate. Well done to all the competitors, a great achievement.
