Biography

September 2014 - present: Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at Maynooth University.

Jan 2012 - September 2014:  Postdoctoral Research Associate under the supervision of Prof. Kate Jolliffe at The University of Sydney, Australia.

Project: Synthetic peptides as scaffolds for the efficient transport of biologically relevant anions.

2007 - 2011:  Ph.D. in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Thorri Gunnlaugsson at Trinity College Dublin.

Thesis: Ru(II) polypyridyl complexes as DNA probes and photoreagents.

2006: Visiting Research Student, Universite de Montpellier, France.

2003 - 2007:  BA Mod. Medicinal Chemistry, Trinity College Dublin.
