The 2013 Maynooth University Teaching and Learning Showcase took place on Wednesday, 8 May.
Showcase 2013 involved participation from across the university with 62 poster presentations including the 2012 Teaching and Learning Fellowship projects on display.
The showcase posters displayed a wide variety of teaching and learning initiatives and topics including; experiential learning, peer teaching and evaluation, project based learning, flexible learning, assessment, academic writing, podcasting, virtual classroom delivery, audience response systems, webinars, tablet response systems, and mobile apps for learning. As part of the event, participants and attendees had an opportunity to vote on the best innovation in teaching and learning on display. The Best Innovation in Teaching and Learning prize for 2013 was awarded to Ms. Laura Burke for the Inclusive Learning Project.
