Irish Scholarship Award
The conference organizing committee hopes to offer scholarship awards to 6 students from Irish colleges/universities, studying in the field. This will cover their registration and accommodation for the nights of the conference (25th, 26th & 27th). The scholarship students will be expected to assist in the day-to-day running of the event. The studentships are available to students currently enrolled in a university/college PhD or MSc program, or equivalent, and actively involved in related research.
Scholarship Application Deadline: March 18, 2016.
International Scholarship Award
Open to international students & Irish students (attending an Irish institution)
The conference organising committee plans to offer International scholarships to a number of students who meet the criteria. This will involve covering accommodation for 3 nights during the event (25th, 26th & 27th). To be considered for a scholarship, a student must demonstrate a need for financial support and preferably make a contribution to the conference program of either an oral or poster presentation. Students will need to pay conference registration.
Applications will be reviewed and ranked according to the following criteria:
- Applicant is currently enrolled in a university PhD or MSc program and be actively involved in research related to sea lice.
- Applicant provides a clear and demonstrated need for financial support.
