Campus planning considers solutions that respond to a range of changing student needs. The Maynooth University campus currently has capacity for 1,170 students to live on campus. The University Strategic Plan 2018-2022 establishes the clear objective to develop an additional 1,000 bed student residence on campus over the coming decade.
The increased access to dedicated student residence capacity will also support a reduced dependency on cars travelling to the campus, in line with University sustainable commuting initiatives.
