Chaplaincy Service

A listening, supportive presence for all students on campus

'Never stop doing little things for others. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts.'

The Maynooth University Pastoral Care service offers friendship and support to all on campus. Our vision is to assist all students to realise their full potential while in Maynooth University.

We provide an open door drop in service for any student who seeks pastoral, physical, emotional or spiritual care. It is our mission to provide a safe, confidential and hospitable space for those seeking support.

We are here to listen in confidence and to accompany our students in both the sorrow and joy of their lives. No matter what difficulty a student may face, they are treated with empathy and unconditional positive regard.

We provide meaningful opportunities for worship and spiritual nourishment for students of all faiths and none. A close partnership is maintained with leaders of religious and secular communities.

With a diverse community in Maynooth University, we aim to promote awareness and understanding of the many traditions, beliefs and values of our student body.
