Alison Cooke, International Officer and US Financial Aid Officer at Maynooth University, attended the U.S. Department of Education Financial Student Aid Training Conference in Georgia, U.S.A. this month.  The Maynooth University International Office has been operating US Financial Aid in conjunction with the MU Fees and Grants Office for the university’s North American students for over 10 years. These U.S. government loans allow U.S. citizens and eligible residents to access undergraduate, masters and PhD degrees outside of the U.S. and also to study abroad for a semester or a year as part of a students’ U.S. based degree. Maynooth University receives numerous U.S. students through this federal aid programme each year.
