This year, Maynooth Green Campus & the Residence Office partnered to divert some of the waste created when students leave their apartments for reuse or recycling.
When: Thursday, May 19, 2022 - 12:00 to 14:00
Where: Courtyard Apartments outside main reception area
Firstly, we would encourage all students to bring whatever you can home with you. However, if there are items you cannot take with you, Maynooth Green Campus will store and donate to incoming students.
The items that we will accept are:
Linens & towels
Crockery – mugs, plates, etc.
Pots & pans, cutlery, utensils, etc.
Electrical items, coffee makers, fans, rice makers, etc.
There will be collection points outside the Courtyard Apartments main reception area on:
12 pm-2 pm Thursday 19th May
12 pm-2pm Wednesday 25th May
Please, bring along any items on the above days to help reduce waste on campus. Incoming students will benefit from those items, and the surplus will be donated to charity.
