Maynooth Classics Seminar welcomes Dr John Curran (Queen's University Belfast) this Friday, 31st March for his rescheduled lecture on ' Pilate, Barabbas, and the Privilegium Paschale'.
The lecture will deal with one of the most vibrant and conflicted regions of world-history, involving Roman imperial power, Greek colonialism, Judaism, and early Christianity. Reflecting the University's commitment to the diversity of the human experience, it should be of interest to many and the Department welcomes the support and participation of all!
