A Library and Music Department collaboration highlighting the wonderful and unique music collections in the John Paul II and Russell Libraries which support the study, composition and performance of music on Maynooth Campus. This is a valuable and unique research resource of national and international importance; the collections have been developing over more than two hundred years to include a wide range of general and specialist music publications and databases of scores, music literature, images and recorded music. They span the centuries from a Processionarium of the Dominican Rite printed in Seville in 1494 to a full-text journal article on An efficient musical accompaniment parallel system for mobile devices in ‘The Journal of Supercomputing’ of January 2017.
